The Mazda Spec MX-5 (SMX) car class, part of select SCCA® Road Racing events for several years, will be recognized as of Jan. 1, 2024, as an SCCA Road Racing Runoffs class.
All SCCA U.S. Majors Tour® and Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour weekends will include an SMX class, and the group will have an official race at Road America in 2024 as a fully recognized National Championship Runoffs class.
New Build Ready for 2023 Spec MX-5 Season
After long hours, busted knuckles and lots of blood sweat and tears, she is ready! We couldn't be more proud and excited for our newest edition to Haag Performance. Looking forward to 2023!
We Have Moved!
While we loved our Sacramento shop location and will greatly miss all of our super cool neighbors the daily drive from Lodi to the shop was a chore. Even for those of us who love to get behind the wheel! The new shop in Lodi is closer to home and we are all moved in!
Haag Performance selected to operate Mazda Motorsports' Club Factory Racing Team!
This is a dream come true for Haag Performance! Two young drivers with impressive karting backgrounds have earned the factory driver's seat. Alex Berg and Bryson Morris will be supported and groomed by Mazda’s Prototype driver in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship DPi class Jonathan Bomarito, the Mazda Motorsports team, and Haag Performance to run in the Spec MX-5 Challenge Series presented by Toyo Tires Western Region as NASA Teen Mazda Challenge competitors. New! Mazda Excellence Award
Haag Performance has partnered with Lucky Dog Racing League to create the new Mazda Excellence Award. The new trophy will be presented to the winner of Sunday's first Lucky Dog Race. We are looking forward to giving out this trophy and award!
